For our 7th episode of Street Studio, we asked Felix Kunze, a good friend of V-Flat World and talented portrait photographer to take a holiday tradition of his to the big screen for an exciting episode of Street Studio. Every year on Halloween night, Felix and his crew hit the costume lined streets to capture strangers in the holiday spirit. “The Halloween Project” has been a beautifully artistic success in the 4 years since Felix began this project. With Felix embarking on his 5th installment of the Halloween Project, we thought, what would be better than to document his process on Street Studio for all to see. We equipped Felix with some V-Flats and sent him off to the streets of SoHo, NY to do what he does, this time, a crew of cameras following his every move. Ride along with Felix as he meets some exciting characters and snaps magnificent portraits in the streets of SoHo. Hear tales of terror and feel the Halloween chill as Felix works his magic on strangers under the cold Halloween moon.
“I’m really loving how I can turn into a background, use it to fill shadow or add more shadows, and also as a changing room lol. I’m loving it.”
