This cone has become one of my top tools for product photography. The attached image was lit from below using and light table and the cone provided the soft light I was looking for.

The cone is a great light modifier for photographing small products and especially specular ones against clean backdrops, especially useful for e-commerce type of shoots.

The cone soften the light nicely and evenly across. It's great for shooting small specular items. I ordered the large cone. The opening is large enough to fit a Phase One Macro lens to take a shot from above. It's a fast way to light items for web and catalog, especially the specular ones. Would be great if they would sell large sheets of this material so we can custom build tent like structures for lighting bigger items.

It’s amazing how well it works. So simple. So effective.

I did a quick test and have not used it on a product shoot yet. But the test was as expected, Beautiful!!

I have only had one recent opportunity to use my new light cone for a jewelry project and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately it was not quite wide enough as the sides cut off my composition of several gold chains. I think if I only had 1 or 2 pieces in the photo it would be just fine. So glad I bought the large, I think the med & small would be very limited in use. I hope they keep tweaking the concept though as it definitely has potential.

I purchased the light cone knowing I had a project that it would be used for. It worked as advertised and I love it.

The Light Cone x Karl Taylor - Large is total game changer and one of the most innovative products that I've used in a long time. The light cone is simple to use, durable, and produces professional results, all for a great value!

Great results easily obtained when shooting from above. A little more tricky if your subject needs to be stood up vertically, because there's no stand and nothing to attach to to hold the cone in a horizontal shooting position.

As a side hustle I do product photography. Shooting fine, fountain pens with lots of reflective surface has been a challenge. First time using The Light Cone and I’m able to showcase the beautiful sterling silver and colors in this pen! Light Cone is a big time saver! The Duo Board underneath looks pretty sweet too!!

As a professional photographer who's been in the business for almost 14 years, nothing makes me happier than when people come out with new tools that make my life easier/faster/better when shooting. V-flat World knocked it out of the park with their portable v-flats...and they, along with Karl, did it again with this product! It's so easy to use and creates such a beautiful, soft, even light. I even tried it on a model during a beauty shoot and love the results!
