Great
I recently knew about Vflat through IG and took a chance to order a few colors for my cakes photoshoot. They were beyond expectation. Worked very well for my set up!
This board is so realistic. It adds just the right amount of texture and makes a perfect, neutral, elegant backdrop for my pottery pieces.
I love the XL size. I needed something larger for styling product and food photographs for business. This is a perfect size and avoids me having to extend the background edges in post production!

Nice product as pictured. A bit pricey but got on sale.
I really enjoyed the backdrop being double sided. The linen looked realistic. The white/peach colors were lovely. The board itself is huge ! I'm so glad it actually looked as big as it said it was. I feel like that never happens. I'll have to get another board sometime in the future to use with the one I have. Pricing is great compared to other companies. I just wish the board went all the way down and didn't leave a tiny gap at the bottom because if you're an amateur photographer like myself you'll have a hard time hiding it. That's really the only con for me. Of course that may not be an issue with others but regardless I would purchase again. Thank you for the extras by the way ! you guys are so kind!
These are nice and pretty versatile. In general, I should mention that v-flat does these prefab surfaces better than anyone else I’ve seen. The replica services are way too small to work on as a professional and the double sided feature is really handy. I know it’s pretty far-fetched and would cost a lot more to make but I really wish someone was doing these with actual textures so the lighting would match
Honestly, I felt duped thinking there were two boards in every order. That's what your first photo looks like. I have to read the fine print to reveal that there is only one board per order.
The linen color is a nothing like in the pictures. It’s a dull grey vs a warm beige. Makes no sense just to have 1, and now they’re sold out.
I use the white side more than I do the yellow.
Really, they are ok. They have a very shiny sheen to them, so the lighting is proving difficult for me as a beginner. But the biggest issue for me is that duo legs are a nightmare. They are sooo difficult to get on the boards and to get he placement right so there is not space between the two boards. I'm convinced every time I take them off or put them on I'm damaging the board. Much too big of a hassle. I wasn't overly impressed with the color options either, I was looking for a plain pink and a solid white, I ended up getting the Linen White/Cream combo and the cream side is ok, but the white side looks really fake in all the shots I'm getting, partly because of that sheen I mentioned earlier. I'm going to keep trying to get better shots with these and hope my opinion changes.
I can't really tell the difference in which is which.
I'm not sure if it's the base image or just being a lighter color, but the linen seems to show quite a bit of "noise" that reveals itself in the final images when doing macro product photography. Love the idea of the boards and I own another pattern that I use, but this one was a disappointment.
